Alumni Basketball Tournament & Sports-a-thon - May 14, 2011!

SAT-10 Tests this Tuesday-Friday (May 3-6)

The school will administer the Sat-10 tests for grades 1st through 8th on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week (May  3, 4, 5 , 6). Please make sure your child arrives to school on time, has a good nights rest, and eats a healthy breakfast in order to perform at their highest. Students need to bring a calculator, several sheets of scratch paper, a ruler with inch and centimeter markers, and two Number 2 pencils.

Sports-a-thon Meeting on Tuesday! (5/3/11)

Armenian Mesrobian School will be having its Sports-a-thon/Alumni Basketball Tournament on Saturday, May 14, 2011. 

In order to prepare for this much anticipated event, we will be having another meeting on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 7:00pm(Mesrobian Campus) - Alumni and parents who want to help with this event are encouraged to attend! Please help spread the word.

Bulldogs Win League Championship!!!

Last Thursday, the Mesrobian boys' varsity volleyball team played their championship game against Southwestern Academy and won 1st place!! A huge crowd came out to support the boys and watch the exciting game. Congratulations guys! We're very proud of you!

Armenian Genocide Commemoration with Mesrobian Students

At School...

Prior to Spring Break, on Friday, April 15, the Associated Student Body organized a Genocide Commemoration Assembly on campus for grades 1st - 12th. Various students made speeches and read poetry about the Genocide and presented their thoughts on the issue. Elementary students also sang songs in memory of our ancestors. 

At the Armenian Genocide Martyrs Monument (Hooshartsan)...

On Saturday, April 23, 2011, Mesrobian students took part in 96th Anniversary Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide (Political Rally & Candlelight Vigil) at the Hooshartsan. Throughout the night, students alternated taking shifts standing guard at the monument. Throughout the program, students read passages about the 6 Vilayets of Eastern Anatolia.
