Those families, who have more than one child and are interested in the Grand Prize “Game Truck” event, must purchase a minimum of 15 items PER STUDENT.

Back 2 School Night - this Thursday!!!

Back 2 School Night is this Thursday, September 29 @6:30pm on campus. The evening will begin with an assembly, followed by classroom visitations. We encourage all parents to attend! Don't miss the opportunity to meet our new & improved faculty.

Girls Volleyball Game on Tuesday!

The Girls Varsity Volleyball team will be having their first volleyball game of the season tomorrow, Sept. 20, against Calvary Baptist at 3:30pm. Please come out and support your Bulldogs!!!

The School Uniform Company will be at school on Thursday, September 22 from 3-4pm. Both school uniforms AND P.E. uniforms will be sold.

They will not be available today (the 16th). Sorry for the inconvenience.

Physical Education (PE) uniforms will be available for sale on campus on Friday, September 16.

Mesrobian Students Remember 9/11

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the tragedies that struck our country. On September 11, 2001, thousands of innocent Americans lost their lives. This morning during our daily line-up, Mesrobian students remembered the tragedies of 9/11.

"Ten years ago on September 11, 2001 the United States was unexpectedly attacked. Many lives were lost on that September morning when the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, the Capital Building, and four American planes were targeted by terrorism. This is an event that forever changed our country and the world. I was only a few months old at the time and didn’t realize what was happening. However, now that I am older, and have learned about it, I see the impact it still has on our lives ten year later. America still emerges as a world leader. Even during one of our countries darkest moments Americans pulled together in many ways. While Americans watched the events on TV, many prayed, and many cried, but none lost hope in America, its future, and its promise for a better life. Many heroes emerged during the events that took place on September 11, 2001. And it is a day we will  never forget."

THE NEW MESROBIAN SCHOOL: A PROMISE FOR CHANGE, TRANSFORMATION AND EXCELLENCE

PICO RIVERA, CA – September 7, 2011 – Armenian Mesrobian Elementary and High School of Pico Rivera opened its school year last Thursday, September 1, 2011, under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Present at the Opening Day ceremony were the students, parents, benefactors, the school faculty and staff, guests, as well as representatives of community organizations.

The message for this year’s opening day constituted the promise of change and transformation to achieve excellence.

The faculty and staff at Mesrobian School are excited to welcome students to fulfill the promise of excellence. The school structures are already renovated. This will be the year of change and transformation inside the classroom. The guarantors for the success of this task will be the newly retained highly qualified teachers, along with the school’s veteran faculty members.

As the school’s Principal Seto Boyadjian, Esq. stated: “This year our focus will be on improving academic achievement to prepare students for the challenges they will face in college and the workforce. We plan to provide engaging instruction in every classroom. Our priority will be to incorporate technology in the classroom so as to arm our students with the skills they need to succeed. We are confident in our promise to bring change and transformation into our classrooms, because we now have the academic potential. Just take a look at our faculty and staff.”
