Halloween Parade and Costume Regulations

Tomorrow, October 31st, will be the Halloween Parade hosted by our Parent Faculty Club. The event will begin at 2:00pm.

 

 

Tomorrow will be FREE DRESS for the entire school. Students may change in to their costumes after 1:30pm. E.C.E. & Elementary parents may come to assist their children (to dress up) after 1:30pm.
Students should NOT come to school dressed in their costumes.

-Costumes should not be gory, scary, gang-related, or inappropriate for the school environment.

-Costumes may not demean any race, religion, nationality, handicapped condition or gender.

-Props such as weapons (toy guns, knives, swords, etc.) are NOT permitted.

-Costumes should have a decent and proper outlook.

**Families who sell their whole case of World's Finest Chocolates and turn in their $50 by this Friday, October 26th, will be rewarded with a day of "free dress" for each student in the family.

 

 

**Friday, October 26th, is a minimum day. School will be released at 12:00pm.

College Life (UCLA) Presentation for Juniors & Seniors

On Monday, October 15, a Bruin Ambassador from UCLA, visited Mesrobian and spoke to the junior and senior classes.  Her presentation included an overview of campus life at UCLA, programs that the university offers, and the application process.

Students received specific information about grade point average and standardized test requirements, as well as advice about what to include in the activities section of the UC application and the personal statement. She even provided her e-mail address and offered students help with their personal statements.

Overall, the presentation was very helpful, not only for the seniors, who are applying to universities this year, but also for the juniors, who gained a better understanding of what they need to do between now and next fall to strengthen their chances of acceptance.

Uniform Sale on Campus Today, October 10th

There will be a uniform sale today, October 10th, on campus from 2-4pm.

The following is a list of times that Kaham Game practices will be held.

1st - 5th Soccer - Mondays and Wednesdays (3:30-4:45pm)

7th & 8th Grade Basketball - Mondays (3:30-4:45pm)

4th - 6th Grade Basketball - Tuesdays (3:30-4:45pm)

1st - 3rd Grade Basketball - Wednesdays (3:30-4:45pm)

4th Grade's "Trip to Armenia"!

Today our 4th Graders "visited Armenia" with their teacher, Mrs. Marina. They prepared their passports, brought along their luggage,  got questioned by officials, and ate delicious Armenian food. Here are some photos from today's eventful trip!
