Kindergarten Class Visits Pumpkin Patch

Miss Noushig’s Kindergarten class went to the pumpkin patch on Friday, Oct. 25th , after learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin in their Science class. They took a tour of all the different pumpkins, went on a pony ride, pet the farm animals, and jumped on the jumper. They also got to take home a pumpkin of their own! They had a fun-filled day at the pumpkin patch singing songs and reading their Pumpkin Life Cycle book.
Thank you to all the parents who were able to join us!

Reminder:Nut Free Treats for Halloween

As you know, Mersobian is a "Nut Free" zone and we want to remind all parents of elementary and older students to read labels carefully when they prepare treats for children to hand out to classmates on Halloween. ECE parents will receive a reminder about policies that are in the ECE handbook pertaining to treats. Keep in mind, that most candy bars are made in facilities where various types of nuts are processed, so please do not send those treats with your child on Halloween.  Pencils, stickers, or hard candies that have not been made in facilities that process nuts are acceptable. Thank you for helping us ensure the safety of our students who have serious allergies.

Storyteller Visit at Mersobian's Preschool

Our preschool students were treated to a special story time by a guest storyteller as part of their Halloween activities.  Mrs. Nellie Nercessian, who has taught young children for many years and is also a Mesrobian parent, graciously volunteered to host a special story time for our preschoolers. With her animated way of telling stories, the students listened intently to the stories and participated in the fun-filled activities.   They had a wonderful time and can't wait for Mrs. Nercessian to visit again.

Mesrobian Students Perform at Holy Cross Cathedral's Monthly Dinner

Holy Cross Cathedral's Ladies Aide hosts a monthly dinner at Bagramian Hall and they once again requested that our students perform at the event.  Our music teacher, Mrs. Anahit Khachigian, taught the students the songs they sang so beautifully that some guests were inspired to later take their turns with the microphone entertaining friends and family.
