On the last day before Christmas vacation the Pre-school students visited other classrooms and the school office as they sang Christmas carols to spread holiday cheer throughout the campus. A few days before, the children had prepared letters for Santa and promised to be nice to each other and their families. Santa came for a visit to hand out presents as the Nursery, Pre-school, and Pre-Kindergarten students recited and sang for him. Parents and families were as excited as our students.

A Magical Christmas: Christmas Program 2013
Bagramian Hall was adorned with festive holiday decorations for one of the biggest events of the school year- the annual Christmas Program. Friends and family were entertained by our Pre-School through 5th Grade classes as they recited, sang, danced, and performed a play. The grand finale was the Elementary choir, later joined by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.

3rd Grade Reading Buddies Visit ECE
The 3rd Graders were reading buddies to our Pre-School and Pre-Kindegarten students. Books were chosen ahead of time and the 3rd Graders practiced reading the books and learned how to work with 3 and 4 year olds. Each 3rd Grader was partnered with a Pre-school or Pre-K student. They read to them, asked them questions, and later made Christmas themed drawings for their buddies to color. Holding hands, they went to the playground and played. It was a wonderful sight to see how our students are truly like Mesrobian brothers and sisters.

ASB Hosts "Christmas Hunger Games"
Christmas spirit at Mesrobian is obvious throughout the entire campus. To add to the Christmas spirit, the ASB organized a "Christmas Hunger Games" for 6th - 12th Graders. Each class chose a "tribute," who at the signal of the whistle ran out to get a bag of Christmas decorations, after which the students rushed upstairs to their homeroom classes to decorate. They had 50 minutes to decorate the classroom with whatever was in the bags. Some of the elementary teachers served as judges and the winning class was announced Friday morning. Congratulations to our 11th/12th Grade class for winning the contest.
