Vartanantz Celebration in ECE

Throughout the month of February our ECE students learned about Vartan Mamigonian, one of our Armenian historic and religious leaders. They learned poems and songs about him, and today our Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten students performed for their parents as they celebrated Vartanantz.

Celebrating Vartanantz

Our 1st Grade students took part in a role playing activity during Mrs. Arpy Hamparian's Armenian class, as they all had a chance to "be" Kach Vartan.

9th Grader, Alex Manoogian, spoke to the students about the significance of Vartanantz in Armenian religion and culture. The elementary students sang songs about Vartanantz that they have learned in Mrs. Anahit Khachikian's music class.
