Photo: I am confident that we are now approaching youth activism in the right way. In the past the message we have sent is “get off your smartphone, get off your tablet, get off your laptop, and do something useful. And yes there may be real dangers in the overuse or misuse of technology, but what we should say and now are saying is use your phone to take pictures of this event, use your tablet to broadcast what you are doing, use your laptop to blog about this or that issue. ANNUAL EASTER FUN DAY AT MESROBIAN !

Armenian Mesrobian School's Ron & Goharik Gabriel Preschool hosted our Annual Easter Fun Day on Friday, April 11th.  Nearly 60 children were in attendance, as were teachers, the principals, and Board Members from the ARS Nairy Chapter Preschool and ARS Saturday School. Children enjoyed fun activities, the Easter egg hunt, and a visit from the Easter bunny.  Pre-Kindergarten students visited our Kindergarten class and listened to stories read by our teachers. All the children received Easter baskets made possible by the generosity of our parents and Spirit shirts made especially for ECE donated by Club Mesrobian Alumni Organization.

WELCOME HOME 7th & 8th GRADERS

Students return home after an amazing trip to Washington DC and New York.  We are very proud of our students for how polite and respectful they were throughout the entire trip . By coincidence, Mesrobian senior, Richard Agajanian, was also in New York City with his father visiting St. John's University where he has been accepted, on their way to Chicago to visit other universities.  Senior Poghos Iskajyan is in Berkeley visiting UC Berkeley, where he has been accepted. It is wonderful to see how our younger students look up to our university-bound students.
