As you know, The California Legislature passed a law to install freeway signs marking the exit to the Armenian Genocide Monument in Montebello. The freeway signs are now installed.
It is now the turn of Montebello City Council to set up signs on city streets marking the way to the Armenian Genocide Monument.
Tonight, at 6:30pm, Montebello City Council will convene to decide, among others, two agenda items:
1) Placing additional street signs directing people to the Monument
2) Renaming Via Clemente Road that leads to the Monument as "Monument Way"
Students are requested to attend tonight's city council meeting along with their parents and family members.
