3rd Grade Field Trip to the Tidepools

The 3rd Graders went on a tidepool exploration at Corona Del Mar Beach in Newport Beach. They had completed a lesson on tidepool habitats in Science class and were able to see first-hand the many tidepool animals that they had learned about.  After a brief guided lesson from the tour guides, they took a short hike to the tidepools, after which they enjoyed a picnic lunch and some fun in the sand before heading back to school.
