WASC
Visiting Committee is Impressed with Significant
Progress
at Mesrobian
On May 1st, the Western Association of
Schools and Colleges (WASC) Committee visited Mesrobian School
and spent an entire day to assess the School’s progress for further accreditation
purposes. Upon careful review of the work achieved over the past six months,
the Committee reported that they were genuinely impressed by the “significant
progress the school has made in responding to the critical areas for follow-up
and in carrying out the related action plan.”
In its Report presented to the School
Administration at the end of the visit, the Committee underscored that it “was
impressed with the amount of progress Mesrobian School
has made in a very short time.”
Below are Committee’s Recommendations and Commendations reproduced from
the last three pages of their Final Report.
Mesrobian Principal, Seto Boyadjian, Esq., stated,
“The Committee’s assessment should further expand our confidence in Mesrobian’s
ability and potential for further academic excellence. We have an excellent
academic plan and we have a capable team to implement that plan. The Visiting
Committee’s Report attests to our plan and our ability.”
He added, “We will stay the course and begin
enriching our plan with more programs and tools so that our children benefit
abundantly from our efforts and purpose for more excellence, more discipline
and safe environment.”
Mr. Boyadjian concluded, “With the help of our
parents and the support of the community, we cannot fail.”
