ARMENIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY AND HAMPARTZUM CELEBRATION AT MESROBIAN

Mesrobian's Armenian Department organized a fun-filled day celebrating May 28th-Armenian Independence Day.  Students celebrated Hampartzum (The Ascension of Christ) with traditional activities as well.  Students also participated in an Armenian Spelling Bee, Armenian-themed crafts, an Armenian Quiz Bowl, and student assembly.  The day ended with Armenian music and a barbeque to help raise funds for the ANCA Telethon on June 1st.
