Every year, Mrs. Marina Cherchian's 4th Grade Armenian class goes on a "trip to Armenia." They pack their bags, but they don't have to travel far; their teacher sets up the school library as the airport and as their final destination- Armenia. Mrs. Cherchian prepares boarding passes and passports to make the trip even more special for her students. They get their passports stamped as they enter "Armenia" where they enjoy tasty treats such as tahn, gata, sharig, string cheese, lavash, and more. It's a memorable trip that they will talk about for years to come, and they made it back in time for recess!
