Veterans Day Tribute

Today students and guests participated in a special morning line up ceremony to commemorate Veterans Day.  The ASB lead the prayer and pledges as two 5th Grade students raised the flags, after which the students sang the Star Spangled Banner with the piano accompaniment of their music teacher, Anahit Khachigian.  The students waved their flags as Principal Ghoogasian spoke to them about Veterans Day and introduced three Mesrobian family members who are veterans: Mr. Frank Tabbakh who served in the US Army; Mr. Manuel Camacho who served in the US Navy; Mr. Richard Ghoogasian who served in the US Air Force. Very Reverend Father Muron Aznikyan, Dean of Holy Cross Cathedral and religion teacher, said a special prayer for all veterans.  5th  Graders, Arianna Arshagouni and Gary Kizirian, read what they had written about Veterans Day. It was a very special ceremony as we observed Veterans Day.
